Women’s Cross Country: Long Beach finishes seventh at SCC Championships
The Long Beach City College women’s cross country team totaled 175 points to finish in seventh place out of eight teams at the 2010 South Coast Conference Championships on Friday at Mt. San Antonio College.

Leading the way for the LBCC women was freshman Samantha Allen. She cleared the three-mile course at Mt. SAC with a time of 20:31 to finish in 23rd place.

The 2010 season ends for the LBCC women as a team, but with her finish, Allen has qualified as an individual for next week's Southern California Championships in San Diego on November 6.
LA Trade Tech College won the women's team title with 28 points, followed by Mt. SAC (46), and Cerritos (83). Danielle Low of Trade Tech was the individual winner with a time of 17:37.
