November 8, 2011 Women’s Water Polo: LBCC earns No. 4 seed for Southern California Regionals The Long Beach City College women’s water polo team suffered an 8-7 loss in sudden death overtime to Cerritos College in the finals of the South Coast Conference Championship tournament to finish in second place on Saturday. Following the loss, LBCC was awarded the No. 4 seed for this week’s Southern California Regional Championships at Riverside Community College.

Freshman starting pitcher Sean Hale was nearly untouchable during the month of March for the Long Beach City College baseball team. The right-hander out of Marina High School went 4-0 during the month, leading the Vikings to wins in all of his starts.
