Men’s Cross Country: LBCC advances to regionals with fourth-place SCC finish
The Long Beach City College men’s cross country team totaled 132 points to finish in fourth place out of eight teams at the South Coast Conference Championships on Friday at Mt. San Antonio College.
The Long Beach City College men's cross country team totaled 132 points to finish in fourth place out of eight teams at the South Coast Conference Championships on Friday at Mt. San Antonio College.
With their team finish, the Vikings qualified for next week's Southern California Championships on November 6 in San Diego.
Leading the way for Long Beach once again was freshman Anthony Fierros. He cleared the four-mile course at Mt. SAC with a time of 22:06 to finish in 12th place.

El Camino College won the men's team title with 26 points, followed by LA Trade Tech (57) and Mt. SAC (80). ECC's David Cardona was the individual champion with a time of 20:32.
