Sophomore free safety Fred Rogers was named first-team SCFA Central Division All-West Conference at Tuesday's postseason coaches meeting at L.A. Harbor College.
Rogers was one of six Vikings honored by conference coaches, but was LBCC's lone first-team selection.
Rogers had an impressive season in 2010. He set a new school-record with eight interceptions. He also led LBCC with nine broken up passes and was third with 67 total tackles.
Second-team selections on offense included sophomore center Kevin Williams, guard Ceasar Tenorio, sophomore wide receiver Deondre Powell, and sophomore quarterback Gabriel Thomas.
On defense, sophomore linebacker Moses Tili and sophomore cornerback D'Andre Lewis were honored.
Under third-year head coach Mike Reisbig, the Vikings compiled a 5-5 overall record in 2010 and finished fourth in the West Conference with a 2-3 mark.
