The Long Beach City College trand & field team has qualified two individuals for the Southern California Track & Field finals on Saturday at San Diego Mesa College. Ashley Craddock will see action in the 100 and 200-meters while Chris Graham will compete in the 110-meter high hurdles.

Men's Volleyball: Former Viking Chris Austin wins NCAA Championship

Former Viking Chris Austin helped lead UC Irvine to a men’s volleyball NCAA Championship on Saturday. Austin, the starting setter for the Anteaters, had 48 assists and 15 digs in the national championship final win over USC at the Galen Center.

Former Long Beach City College men’s volleyball standout Chris Austin will be playing in the NCAA National Championship final on Saturday for UC Irvine. The Anteaters will take on USC for the NCAA Division I national title on Saturday at 7 pm at the Galen Center in Los Angeles.

Track & Field: Long Beach qualifies 12 for Southern California Regionals
Long Beach City College has qualified for 12 events for next week’s Southern California Championships after its performance at the South Coast Conference Finals at Compton College on Friday. The LBCC women qualified in six individual events and will send both relay teams while the Viking men qualified three individuals and one relay team for the regional preliminaries.
