Harris Earns 3C2A Pitcher of the Week

LOS ANGELES, Calif – Danni Farris of Yuba College and Hailey Harris from Long Beach City College earned California Community College Fastpitch Coaches Association Player and Pitcher of the Week honors on Monday, April 14.
Farris is the first player in the 2025 season to earn each player and pitcher of the week recognition. The week eight 3C2A Pitcher of the Week was a force both in the batter's box and in the circle, mashing 11 hits in 17 at bats, five extra-base hits, two of which homers and seven RBI.
As a pitcher, Farris posted a 0.90 ERA across 31 innings. She notched five wins and 46 strikeouts. Farris has been an integral part to the Niners' state-best 17-game winning streak.
Harris was equally impressive in the circle, dominating her way to a 3-0 record for the Vikings. She tossed two shutouts and a 9-2, week-best 12 strikeout performance over No. 11 Cerritos. Harris posted double-digit strikeout numbers in each of her three starts with 11 over Canyons and 10 against Fullerton.
Harris and Long Beach are sitting atop the South Coast Conference with a record of 19-2 and a league-best eight-game winning streak.
