Bill Fraser, head coach of the men’s basketball team from 1973-90 and at the helm when the Vikings won the 1976 state championship. He led LBCC to 13 post-season appearances and six trips to the final four. Fraser was twice named Metropolitan Conference Coach of the Year for all sports and is a member of the California Community College Basketball Coaches Hall of Fame.
