The LBCC Vikings delivered another strong performance at the Soka Indoor Qualifier on February 14th, highlighted by multiple event victories and additional State 'A' qualifying marks. The meet showcased the team's continued progression as the season builds momentum.
 
Event Champions
 
The Vikings earned several standout victories across both the throws and horizontal jumps:
  • Jaden Akens – Champion in the Shot Put and Weight Throw, continuing his dominant early-season form in the throwing events.
  • Lauren Farr – Event Champion in the Shot Put, demonstrating strength and technical consistency.
  • Mia Jamerson - Champion in the Long Jump, showing explosiveness and strong board accuracy.
  • Ryan Sheffield – Champion in the Long Jump, leading the men's horizontal jumps group with a clutch performance.
State 'A' Qualifiers
 
The meet also produced key postseason qualifying marks:
  • Ryan Sheffield – State 'A' Standard in the Long Jump
