Track & Field Advances to SoCal Regional Finals

The Vikings were successful at the SoCal Prelims over the weekend with multiple student-athletes qualifying for the SoCal Finals.

The Vikings were successful at the SoCal Prelims over the weekend at San Diego Mesa College with multiple student-athletes qualifying for the SoCal Finals this weekend.

The following Student-Athletes have qualified for the SoCal Regional Finals:

Men

Jeremiah Artis - Long Jump ( 11^th, 6.67), Triple Jump (8^th, 13.60m)
Keshawn Mattear - High Jump (8^th, 1.79m)
Roosevelt Grier - High Jump, Javelin (13^th, 1.79m)

Women

Casey Davis - Shot Put (1^st) 13.28
Kathryn Tamminga - 400m Hurdles (4^th), 4x100m (4^th), 4x400m (4^th)
Radiance Lindsey - 100m Hurdles(7^th), 400m Hurdles (5^th), 4x100m (4^th), 4x400m (4^th)
Destinee Reid - 4x100m (4^th), 4x400m (4^th)
Morgan Venable - 4x100m (4^th), 4x400m (4^th)
Taryn Benton - Triple Jump (11^th)
Serenity Lindemans – Discus 22nd (31.12m)

Our Vikings are back at San Diego Mesa College this Friday, May 12 to compete at the SoCal Regional Finals with an opportunity to advance to the 3C2A State Championships.
