Vikings Host First Annual LBCC Twilight & Distance Carnival

The Track & Field team hosted the first annual LBCC Twilight and Distance Carnival last Friday.

The Long Beach City College Track & Field team hosted the first annual LBCC Twilight and Distance Carnival last Friday at Veterans Memorial Stadium last Friday afternoon.

Casey Davis stood out on top of the women's field team with a first-place finish in the shot put at 12.31 meters. Bry'Nya Richson earned the top spot in the 400 meter-race with a time of 1:02.96, and to round out the women's top podium finishes, Radiance Lindsey took over the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 15.55 seconds.

For the men's team, Joseph Munoz took home first place in the shot put with a distance of 13.08 meters and Nicohlaus Vasquez was the top finisher in the discus with a 36.39-meter mark. Kai Lauderdale was first in the 200-meter and Luke Chibueze placed on top in the men's 400-meter race.
