Long Beach City College is just three weeks away from hosting the South Coast Conference Championship meet and on Saturday, the Vikings traveled to San Diego Mesa College to compete at the Arnie Robinson Invitational. It proved to be a successful event for LBCC as the Vikings totaled 13 top-10 finishes.
The 2016 spring season continued for the Long Beach City College track and field team over the weekend at the Occidental College Distance Carnival Spring Break Classic. LBCC had 28 individual entries at the meet and earned a total of six top-20 finishes.
The Long Beach City College track and field team competed in its second meet of the season, heading across town to nearby Cerritos College for the Cerritos Opener on Friday and Saturday. LBCC brought home 13 top-10 finishes from the non-scoring meet.
The 2016 Long Beach City College Track & Field season got underway as members of the women's squad competed at the Mt. San Antonio College Season Opener meet in Walnut on Friday. LBCC totaled 26 entries at the non-scoring event.
