The Long Beach City College men's volleyball team picked up a straight-set win over Antelope Valley, defeating the Marauders 3-0 Friday night in the Hall of Champions.
The Vikings controlled the match throughout, winning 25-16, 25-15, and 25-16.
Ezekiel Sablan led the offense with 12 kills while adding seven digs and two blocks. Josiah Dawson followed with an efficient performance, recording nine kills on .750 hitting along with five digs and a service ace.
Ethan Hammond contributed five kills and four blocks, while Alden Jacobs added three kills, six digs, and a service ace.
At setter, Ryder Tuaolo finished with 23 assists and seven digs, while Xian Gonzalez added nine assists.
Defensively, Daniel Patino led the back row with nine digs as Long Beach totaled 45 digs as a team. At the net, the Vikings recorded nine total blocks.
The Vikings will return to action on April 1 at home against Santa Barbara City College, with first serve set for 6:00 p.m. in the Hall of Champions.
