The Long Beach City College men's volleyball team earned a straight-set road win over Moorpark College, defeating the Raiders 3-0 on Friday night.
The Vikings took a tightly contested first set 27-25 before closing out the match with wins of 25-23 and 25-21.
Ezekiel Sablan led the way with 13 kills while adding 10 digs for a double-double. Ethan Hammond followed with 11 kills, and Manu Lill added eight kills on an efficient night.
Alden Jacobs contributed eight kills along with eight digs, while Josiah Dawson provided a spark with four kills on .667 hitting.
At setter, Ryder Tuaolo recorded 26 assists and Xian Gonzalez added 16 assists to help guide the offense.
Defensively, Ryder Tuaolo finished with 12 digs and Daniel Patino added 10 digs as the Vikings totaled 55 digs as a team. At the net, Long Beach recorded 10 total blocks.
The Vikings will return to action on March 25 at LA Pierce College, with first serve set for 6:00 p.m.
