Momentum continued at the No. 4 pair, where Cynthia Hinojosa and Ryleeh Tuaolo staged a resilient three-set win (21–17, 21–23, 15–11). After dropping a tight second set, the Vikings regrouped in the tiebreaker, controlling rallies and closing with confidence to even the team score.
Moorpark ultimately edged the dual by taking courts at No. 1, No. 2, and No. 5, but the 3–2 result underscored how competitive the matchup was throughout, with multiple sets decided late.
Match 2: LBCC vs. Mt. San Jacinto College (LBCC wins 5–0)
LBCC left no doubt in the second match of the day, turning in its most complete performance of the season with a clean sweep over MSJC.

Director of Volleyball Operations and Head Coach for Women's Indoor & Beach Volleyball, Tyler Jackson, commented on her squads performance, "Pre-season just started and I'm already excited about the growth of this group. Our early matches exposed both our strengths and the areas we need to improve. We're deep this year, and even figuring out a starting lineup has been a challenge, which is a good problem to have. We also have a few new indoor transfers adjusting to the beach game and watching them grow and adapt has been exciting. Looking forward to our home opener vs OCC and SBCC."
Beach volleyball's next tri-matchup is at home versus Orange Coast and Santa Barbara, on Friday, February 6th. Fans can follow the full schedule to track future matchups and results.
