The loss dropped Long Beach to 8-7 overall and 3-4 in the SCC, while Pasadena improved to 14-3 and 6-1 in conferece play.
Long Beach pushed Pasadena early, as the Lancers won the first two sets by close scores of 25-22 and 25-20 before blowing past the Vikings 25-7 in set three for the sweep.
Sophomore libero Megann Capic led LBCC with 11 digs. Freshman outside hitter Reagan Heitzig posted four kills and sophomore middle blocker Audris Leiataua totaled three blocks.
Long Beach plays the second of five straight home matches on Wednesday night (Oct. 27) when it hosts No. 3 state-ranked El Camino College in a SCC contest at 6 pm.
