Women’s Swimming & Diving: MacLennan named SCC Swimmer of the Year
Long Beach City College freshman Christine MacLennan (pictured) was named the South Coast Conference Co-Swimmer of the Year after a three-win performance at the 2012 SCC Championships. MacLennan helped the Vikings total 339 points to finish in sixth place at the conference finals held at Pasadena City College.

Women's Swimming & Diving: Long Beach goes 1-1 in SCC dual meets
The Long Beach City College women's swimming & diving team split a pair of South Coast Conference dual meets on Friday, beating El Camino College 70-57 and narrowly losing to East Los Angeles College 63-59. Freshman Jackie Rojas (pictured) won three events for the Vikings.
