Freshman starting pitcher Sean Hale was nearly untouchable during the month of March for the Long Beach City College baseball team. The right-hander out of Marina High School went 4-0 during the month, leading the Vikings to wins in all of his starts.

during the month of March for the Long Beach City College baseball
team. The right-hander out of Marina High School (Huntington Beach)
went 4-0 during the month, leading the Vikings to wins in all of
his starts.
Over 29 innings pitched, Hale allowed just three earned runs,
struck out 18 batters, and walked only five. He closed March with
an impressive 0.93 earned run average.
On March 19, Hale earned a complete-game victory against Cerritos
College, allowing an unearned run and just four hits.
For the season (as of April 2), Hale is 7-0 with a 1.22 ERA. His
seven wins are tied for third most in the state while his 1.22 ERA
ranks sixth in the state among starters. LBCC is 15-10 overall this
season with Hale earning nearly half of the Vikings’
wins.
