Athletics: “Sisters in sport,” Prindle, Conklin inducted into CCCAA Hall of Fame
Former Long Beach City College coach and current kinesiology instructor Donna Prindle and former LBCC student-athlete and coach Kristi Kay Conklin were both inducted into the California Community College Athletic Association (CCCAA) Hall of Fame on Wednesday, March 27.

R) of the Liberal Arts Campus (LAC), 4901 E. Carson St.

adidas Nations is coming to the Long Beach City College Hall of Champions Gym on Monday, August 6. Come watch some of the best high school basketball players from around the world compete for a championship. Admission and parking is FREE!!! Come pack the house for a live national television audience as both games will be broadcast on CBS Sports Network.

Athletics: LBCC coaches making impact on US Olympic Water Polo teams
A pair of Long Beach City College water polo coaches are making their presence felt at the 2012 Summer Olympic Games in London. Ryan Bailey is now playing in his fourth Olympics for the United States men while Courtney Mathewson is succeeding in her first Olympics for the American women.

Athletics: LBCC earns three CCCAA state Scholar Athlete awards
Long Beach City College athletics is proud to announce that two student athletes and one team will be honored by the California Community College Athletic Association (CCCAA) with scholar athlete awards for the 2010-11 academic year. Kyle Clark, Sarah Agopian, and the 2011 LBCC men's volleyball team will receive awards on Wednesday.

Athletics: Six emeritus Hall of Champions inductees to be honored March 2
The 2012 Long Beach City College Hall of Champions Emeritus Induction ceremony is set for Friday, March 2 from 12-1:00 p.m. in the foyer of the Hall of Champions Gym at the Liberal Arts Campus (LAC). The event is open to the public and admission is free.

Athletics: Century Club honors six Vikings at annual Sports Night banquet
Three former Long Beach City College student-athletes, two current Vikings, and one former head coach will be honored by the Long Beach Century Club at their annual Sports Night Award Banquet. The banquet is set for February 7 at The Grand in Long Beach.

Athletics: Butler, Agopian honored as 2010-11 LBCC Athletes of the Year
Scott Butler (men’s water polo/swimming) and Sarah Agopian (women’s water polo) have been named the Long Beach City College male and female athletes of the year for the 2010-11 sports season. The pair was honored on Tuesday at LBCC’s annual Student-Athlete Orientation.

Athletics: Long Beach City College announces changes to athletics administration
Long Beach City College has announced interim personnel changes directly connected with its successful athletics program. The interim positions are six-month assignments.
